When I think back to our honeymoon, one word comes to mind: magical. My husband and I spent a week in the Maldives at the Waldorf Astoria Ithaafushi, and it was everything we could’ve dreamed of and then some. From the moment we stepped off the boat onto the resort, we knew this wasn’t going to be just a vacation; it was going to be an experience.

It became one of my favorite rituals—sipping coffee, listening to the waves, and easing into the day.
Of course, no honeymoon is complete without some serious relaxation, and we did plenty of that too. Most days were spent on the soft white sand, just the two of us with nothing but the ocean in front of us. Sometimes, the best luxury is simply slowing down together.
